 The Minecraft movie, a long-anticipated project from Warner Bros., is set to release on April 4, 2025. Directed by Jared Hess, known for Napoleon Dynamite, the film is a live-action adaptation of the iconic sandbox game. Production faced delays due to the SAG-AFTRA strike but resumed in early 2024, with filming concluding in New Zealand by mid-April.
